eddress was first founded in 2015 with the objective to simplify and streamline addresses by converting them into 6 alphanumeric codes. Users involved in different stages of the delivery process could use the 6 digit code instead of typing down the full address, saving time and preventing human errors. In 2015, our company took addresses and made them into eddresses, and that is where we got our name, eddress.

We supported Gorillas' launch in 2020 and witnessed their rapid growth, making them the first German startup to achieve unicorn status in just 9 months.
